Unique in its details this table incorporates elements of the Italian Baroque period, the rectangular top above a conforming case with molded edges, the side and rear panels as well as the drawer front all with carved squares of alternating raised and lowered squares creating a checkerboard effect, raised on sprial turned legs joined by similar stretchers, resting on plinth form block feet.
