of two piece construction and having four relief carved doors above four oak leaf carved bottom doors, the top doors housing glass, all with working locks, with four book slides at the
midsection, formerly in the office of a "notaio" in Naples, Italy. I installed the glass in the doors. It is 1/16th of an inch and had to be slid in from the top and guided down a channel. Scary work, sort of like a guillotine. The patina of the walnut is beautiful. It`s architecturally significant with its neo-gothic arches.
