constructed of solid walnut with rectangular conforming bands of fruitwood and walnut inlays, with a double hinged rectangular top, the top with a protruding shelf off the rear to allow space for the top to open, the front drawers actually a door opening to reveal what once was and can be again a shelved interior, the case resting on square tapering legs and petite ball feet possibly of a later date to add height. In excellent condition with all inlays present, recently polished and waxed
