of grand scale and covered with thick walnut veneers, the oval top with banded edge rests atop a paneled framework housing four deep drawers with ivory escutcheons(locks absent), the table supported by eight turned tapering double banded solid walnut legs continuing to rounded feet. The table is in excellent condition having had repairs to strengthen several legs, with minor veneer replacements, minor separations at top consistent with age, poplar as a secondary wood, recently polished.
