extraordinary and rare, a one of a kind design from the late 1st quarter 19th century, ca. 1820-1825, and having a uniquely Asian influence, the rectangular top with a double band of inlaid ebony wood above a conforming case housing two drawers (one outfitted for silverware) and four doors retaining original locks and keys, the six hexagonal supports continuing to the floor and ending in small ebonized bracket feet, throughout having wonderful carving and layered moldings, in good condition, one area of horizontal wood replaced on top going with the grain
