an exceptional and unique chandelier with a central standard, turned and carved with neoclassical patterns, gilded and painted, the finial comprised of layers of gilt metal leaves having faceted prisms, the central ring connected to the standard by an elaborate wrought iron bracing system, the ring issuing 5 raised wrought iron and metal bobeches and 5 leaf-form bobeches, the bottom section having applied metal leaves underneath and terminating in turned giltwood and painted carved layers with a ring of faceted prisms, currently wired for 5 lights but can be wired for 5 additional lights, in good condition
