constructed entirely of walnut, the solid rectangular top cut from one board and overhanging a molded edge frame housing two carved and paneled locking drawers and having carved panels on all sides, raised on turned legs joined by straight stretchers, joined overall by original iron stretchers, in remarkable condition considering its age, beautifully patinated throughout with fantastic grain patterns
