having a veneered top consisting of large sheets of walnut with a thin wave-form inlay of fruitwood with a small circle at the crest of each wave, interestingly these inlays reach the sides of the table to form part of the edge, a thin band of ebonized wood, followed by a fruitwood band, with a darker walnut center, supported by a turned ebonized pedestal, and ending on a tripartite base similarly veneered as the top, on tapering two-tier bun feet.
