Having an arched and slightly leaning backrest and gracefully curved arms with downturned handrest, the armrests upholstered in leather as is the chair and loose cushion, all trimmed in patinated brass nailheads, the lower frame and arm supports of turned walnut joined by two stretchers and raised on small flattened bun feet, early 18th century.
