having a floral finial above a triple arched crest rail and a middle upholstered backrest flanked by two caned panels, with outwardly scrolling half-upholstered arms, the down cushion above transitional legs, painted throughout in faded reds with gilt highlights, structurally sound, chipping and fading to painted and gilded surfaces, the upholstery in very good condition
