An amazing example of Italian Rococo carving, impressive in size and condition with scattered losses to the original gilding, the mirror frame, elaborately hand-carved, with a plume or prince of wales finial at the top, with leafage-form carvings throughout, with larger leaves at the middle sides, and having small volutes carved at the bottom, retaining its original two-piece mercury glass mirror plates.
