the pair having prickets at the tops with a central shaft continuing to a a tripartite stretcher base, decorated throughout with elongated scrollwork and traces of gilding to the iron, the bases of triangular form and having larger scrolls, resting on slightly notched feet, excellent condition with minor losses consistent with age
