The clockworks adapted slightly to fit the case and offering a 30 hour English movement, accurate and functional, the face painted in red, black and gold with a male and female character near the top, also retaining a dial showing days of the month, the tall case with an arched pediment and finial, a door decorated with characters and structures, raised on a plinth base with bracket feet. In good working order, accurate and functional with pleasing bell strike.
