having its original marble top of serpentine form, the case housing 4-drawers each with a functioning spring lock requiring a key to open, with brass pulls and escutcheons, the upper case decorated with a stenciled giltwood trim and stylized rococo decorations, the outer edges of the drawers are gilded, the lower case also decorated with stylized giltwood decorations and the lower edge is gilded, the side panels with band inlay, resting upon wonderfully carved giltwood feet
