Produced within the first ten years of the early 19th century in the Veneto region of Italy and influenced by the accessibility to the far East that the Adriatic Sea provided, this bowfront 2-drawer cherrywood veneered commode is raised on straight legs with corner brackets, all surfaces with faded ebonized banding, retaining original English inspired hardware and escutcheons. Patching of veneer to drawer fronts.
