Of two-piece construction, the upper section having a pierced gallery and a large mirrored door, the interior covered in velvet, with three convex drawers also velvet lined, the bottom section with two doors and an interior upholstered in velvet, pierced lower gallery, raised on carved tapering legs, please tell me what the purpose of this upper section was.
