the entire commode covered in walnut and various fruitwood veneers, having a serpentine shaped molded edge top above a conforming case, the drawerfronts with lozenge shaped patterns within rectangles, the sides a series of rectangles, with period bronzes and escutcheons. In excellent condition with all veneers intact, the front feet possibly of a later date.
